Privacy and Cookies Policy

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through the MyScoreline service (myscoreline.com and its Polish version myscoreline.pl) is the person running the service, who can be contacted at: kontakt@myscoreline.pl.

2. What data we collect and why

a) Data collected automatically (analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4, a tool provided by Google LLC, to analyze how the service is used. This involves collecting, among other things: IP address (anonymized/truncated), device and browser data, approximate location (country/city), pages visited, and time spent on the site.

This data is collected only after consent is given in the cookie banner and is used solely for statistical purposes — it is not used to identify a specific person.

The Polish version of the service (myscoreline.pl) additionally uses Umami — an analytics tool that does not store any cookies or data in the browser, so it does not require user consent. Only anonymized, aggregated visit statistics are collected (e.g. number of visits, pages visited, country, device type), with no way to identify a specific person. myscoreline.com does not use Umami.

b) Data provided voluntarily

If you contact us by email (e.g. a question, suggestion, or data error report), we process the email address you provided and the content of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. Legal basis for processing

  • Analytics data (Google Analytics) — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (your consent given in the cookie banner).
  • Email correspondence — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).

4. Cookies

The site uses cookies (small text files stored on your device):

  • Essential cookies — necessary for the site to function correctly (e.g. remembering your cookie consent choice). Do not require consent.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — used to collect visit statistics. Loaded only after consent is given in the cookie banner.

You can withdraw consent to analytics cookies at any time by clearing your browser's data/cookies or by changing your decision the next time you visit the site. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings — this may, however, affect how comfortably you can use the site.

5. Data transfers to Google

As a result of using Google Analytics 4, data may be transferred to Google LLC, including outside the European Economic Area. Google processes this data under its own GDPR compliance mechanisms. More information: Google Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention period

  • Analytics data — retained for the period resulting from Google Analytics settings (14 months by default), after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
  • Email correspondence — retained until the matter it concerned is resolved, and then for the period necessary for archival/evidentiary purposes.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, transfer it, and object to its processing. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal) and to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).

To exercise the rights above, contact us at: kontakt@myscoreline.pl.

8. Data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of processed data, including protection against unauthorized access, loss, or destruction.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated periodically, e.g. in connection with changes to the site's functionality or applicable law. The current version is always available on this page.
